Role:
UI/UX Designer
Client:
Microsoft Special Engineering Group (MSEG)
Tools Used:
Client and User interviews, personas, usability studies
Summary:
One of the projects I was entrusted with at Microsoft was the tentatively titled Meeting Assistant, meant to provide passive assistance in managing meetings both online and in person.
User interviews revealed common pain points around holding regular meetings such as ensuring everyone is present via either Skype or in person, remaining on-schedule and on-task, and keeping agendas and notes organized.
We built a simple concept app that tied into the existing structure of Outlook to help manage meetings from a laptop or tablet; large type and simple interactions meant that it could be used at a glance to help keep meetings on track.
